After 81 years development, LACOSTE has established sales network spreading all over the world, in China, there are 700 directly-managed stores and dealer shops. 2 CASCOTE clothes are sold every second in the world in 114 countries. With the steady development of the business, talent development and skill training have become more and more important. However, the traditional face to face training is so time and cost consuming, outmoded and monotonous, it can no longer fit for today’s fast-paced working needs. Therefore, LACOSTE has made the decision to provide online training to its Chinese employees to meet the training demand of the new era.
Through detailed investigation, LACOSTE signed contract with Retech Group. The two parties joined hands and implemented a blended learning project for employees of LACOSTE’s China sales network. We successfully built the eLearning platform exclusively for China region. After completion of the eLearning platform, Retech also developed eLearning courses for LACOSTE to improve employees’ sales capabilities and deployed micro-learning system to cultivate employees’ bite-sized learning habit. eLearning not only saves time and cost but also highly motivates employees to learn more. We believe that in the near future, with Retech’s strong mobile learning courseware development capabilities, LACOSTE China will take the lead in global training and exceed North America, Southeast Asia and Latin America areas.
